A Wild Weekend
Wild Medicine is a weekend of folk medicine, herbalism, and storytelling created for nature lovers, herbalists, foragers, gardeners-gone-wild, and anyone curious about a wilder way of living and healing. With some exciting changes for 2027, group camping, delicious food, and new trails to explore will offer both the education of a conference and the experience of a nature retreat!

You may have heard that our venue of 4 years recently cancelled on us to have their own event on the dates we had booked. Not to worry... Wild Medicine is more than a conference, we are a community! We are still gathering, and we're excited for the opportunity for Wild Medicine to get a little wilder with tent camping included in registration at our new place near Chattanooga, TN.
The Botanical Bard
Our 2027 theme will inspire storytelling, music, costuming, and fire circles that will help us all tap into our inner bards. So, uncloset your cloaks, pack your bags, and join us for a weekend of creativity and community!
The Wild Companion
The Wild Companion is our annual publication of stories, poems, art, plant spirit experiences, and eco-writings from our wild community. We hope you will consider submitting your own work.

2027 WEEKEND
April 30-May 2, 2027
Our Wild Medicine Weekend starts on Friday at 1:00pm and ends on Sunday at 1:00pm. There will be over 20 workshops, special events, evening activities, fireside gatherings, and our much-anticipated Bontanical Bard Storytelling Night on Saturday with real-life bards Lisa Bedner, Byron Ballard, Rebecca Beyer, Phyllis D. Light, and more!
PRE-EVENT FESTIVITIES

Our pre-weekend shenanigans begin Thursday Night in The Storyteller's Apothecary where we'll gather hearthside for a themed dinner and open-mic style Community Bard Performances. We'll sip botanical brews from the Tea & Tell Elixir Bar and toast to the artists and storytellers from our own wild community. The revelry continues Friday morning with the "ramble" (class) of your choice. All of this, plus Thursday night camping and Friday lunch, is included in the Revel & Ramble Package for only $135!
REGISTRATION INFO
Early Bird: Save $100!
Weekend registration is $375 (only $275 during November's early bird sale) and includes tent camping and all events from Friday afternoon through Sunday. Meal plans are available, or you can bring your own food. Plus, you can enhance your experience by adding the Feast & Frolic package that includes Thursday arrival, special meals, and unique gatherings before the main event begins on Friday.
LODGING
Camping Included
New for 2027! Tent camping is included in all registrations. Bring your own gear and camp with us in the Wild Woods Basecamp (a car-accessible tent campground by the lake) or secure your own lodging nearby. You can also rent an RV site through the state park's website or grab a hotel room or Airbnb in Chattanooga or Cleveland.
MEALS
The food is part of the experience! Savor herb-inspired dishes by adding a meal plan to your registration. Alternatively, you can bring own food and enjoy a picnic with new friends. The weekend meal plan is $75 and includes Friday Dinner, Saturday Lunch and Dinner, plus Sunday's Beltane Brunch. We serve hearty meals that can accommodate many dietary preferences. VOLUNTEER
Our work-exchange program is tentatively full. We will re-evaluate our volunteer needs in February and may open a few more spaces at that time.

All vending spaces are full. We welcome interested vendors to email us to be added to the waiting list.

Wild Medicine will take place at Harrison Bay State Park right outside of Chattanooga, TN. With 1000+ wooded acres, a beautiful lake, private camping, and a modern Gathering Hall, it is perfect for our wild weekend together.
