This page outlines everything in detail.

Weekend Registration is ala carte: conference registration and lodging are priced separately. 

Pre-Conference Registration includes whatever lodging type you have for the weekend.

Meals are not included in any registration. Both pre-conference and weekend meal plans are avialable.

Early Birds can save their spot with a 50% deposit!

Balances are due by 2/1/27.

You will be assigned the same lodging as your weekend selection.

2027 Refund Policies

Refund Policies
Effective 5/1/2026

  • Flash Pre-Sale deposits are non-refundable.

  • Early bird registration deposits are non-refundable. 

  • Conference registration fees are non-refundable. No refunds or credits are available. Registrations cannot be used as a credit for other events.

  • Early Arrival and pre-conference program fees are non-refundable. 

  • Meal plan fees are refundable through April 1, 2027. These refunds are subject to online processing fees charged by our registration platform and/or online processing company.

  • Conference registrations may be transferred to another adult through April 27, 2027. Transfers must be confirmed via email: wildmedicineconference@gmail.com.

  • If the conference cannot be held in person due to a public health crisis or any other unforeseen circumstance, the conference may shift to a virtual platform. If this happens, we will refund meal plan fees and a portion of registration fees. The amount of each individual refund will be determined by the expenses we have already incurred at the time of the cancellation. This is a community-supported, registration-funded event and we appreciate your understanding.

  • If the event is fully cancelled due to unforeseen or emergency circumstances, we will refund at least 75% of your registration fees and provide you with a credit for the amount that we are unable to refund that can be used at a future Wild Medicine event. 

  • If you have any questions or concerns about our refund policy, please ask before your register.

Who hosts The Wild Medicine Conference?

The Wild Medicine Conference is a collaborative effort between several herbalists and volunteers including Michelle Rigling, Phyllis D. Light, Joanna Mann, and Trevor Mann. 

What is the refund policy?

The full policy is at the bottom of this page + on the registration page.

Registrations (including deposits and partial-payments towards registration) are non-refundable and there are no exceptions. Fully paid registrations can be transferred to another person through April 26, 2027, however no modifications can be made to the registration as part of the transfer. Transfers must be submitted via email and must be formally approved. 

Who can attend?

WMC is open to all adults ages 18+.

Who cannot attend?

The 2027 WMC is not open to children or teens. All attendees must be at least 18 years of age.

Can mothers bring nursing little ones?

Nursing infants and toddlers are welcome if their registered mother has a private lodge room or is a commuter. An exception would include a parent or friend couple sharing a Lodge Room as roommates. 

What is the 2027 workshop schedule?

The detailed workshop schedule will be available approximately 4 weeks before the event.

What food will be served?

The menu will include a variety of nourishing options including meat, lots of vegetables, a salad bar, and more. The full menu will be available at least 4 weeks before the conference.

How will parking work?

Parking is included in registration. Upon arrival and check-in, you will be directed to parking as close to your lodging as possible. 

What time can I arrive?

Check-in for the Pre-Conference Program is on Thursday from 4:00pm-6:00pm. 

Check-in for the Weekend Conference is Friday from 1:00pm-6:00pm.

How will lodging assignments work?

Roommate requests will be honored as long as they are made during registration. If you choose double occupancy and do not indicate a roommate who has registered, we will assign someone of the same gender to your room. 

Is tent camping available?

Not at Camp McDowell. You are welcome to register as a Commuter and then secure your own campsite at a nearby campground or park. Or you can choose the Car Camper option and sleep in your vehicle. 

Are Day Passes available?

We do not offer day passes, however we do offer weekend communter passes. They include daily access to workshops on Friday afternoon, Saturday, and Sunday morning. They do NOT include lodging or meals, but you can add a meal plan during registration. If you attempt to register and do not see the Commuter option, they are sold out. ​

Are volunteer opportunities available?

Yes! If you are interested in participating in our work exchange program please visit our VOLUNTEER page. 

What should I bring?

A notebook, raingear, snacks, a mug/tumbler for tea, and personal items for free time are recommended. You may also want to bring a camp chair and yoga mat. Participants will also receive a preparation letter with additional suggestions.

What items are not allowed?

Pets/animals, firearms, unregistered guests, and illegal substances are not allowed, per regulations of the venue and our safety policy.
